Schools around Carolina

February 15, 2024

If you have kids, you’ll know how important – and reassuring – it is to have great education options within easy reach of home. That’s what makes Carolina such a popular choice for families with children of all ages.

Carolina’s central location means that families in our community are spoilt for choice when it comes to planning out their children’s education. Read through our comprehensive guide of schools around Carolina, so you can decide which is the right fit for your family.

As well established local childcare providers and family day-care educators, the Deanside Kindergarten offers quality early learning opportunities for Carolina’s youngest residents – mere moments from home. The brand new, Aspire Early Learning Centre welcomes children from six weeks to six years of age, making it an accommodating choice for parents returning to work. Brookside Preschool, lovingly led by Early Childhood Management Services, is also just 7-minutes from Carolina.

As they grow out of Preschool, and begin to trade colouring pencils for calculators, there is still no need to look further than the Caroline Springs region for Primary and High Schools suited to your child.

Opened in 2022, Deanside Primary School is the logical progression for many children moving up from the nearby kindergarten, with the school offering the same great convenience and quality of amenities.

Just outside Carolina’s catchment, but still a viable option for primary education, is Springside Primary School and Taylors Hill Primary School. Both are co-ed public schools with a diverse student body and a friendly faculty who uphold values to stand your children in good stead during the foundational years of their education.

For a more seamless educational journey, from junior years right through to year 12, Melbourne’s west provides some fine choices including, Overnewton Anglican Community College, and the highly regarded Southern Cross Grammar. This impressive, modern and dynamic F-12 school offers outstanding learning opportunities in state-of-the-art facilities and provides a broad curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students across their entire school life. The nearby Bacchus Marsh Grammar’s Woodlea campus currently hosts students from Prep to Year 9, gradually transitioning into a Senior School with the first Year 12 cohort set to commence in 2026.

If you feel your child is better suited to senior education at a school for purely secondary students, there are still options near Caroline Springs. 5 minutes from Carolina is Springside West Secondary College, a High School striving for academic excellence, and providing a range of inclusive programs allowing students of all abilities to achieve. The Australian International Academy’s Caroline Springs Senior Campus welcomes students from Year 6 to 12 with a curriculum tailored to students of Islamic faith. Lakeview Senior College, 6 minutes from Carolina, offers schooling focussed on Years 10 to 12, with a hands-on student to teacher ratio of 1 to 13 to help guide students through their final years of schooling.

Whether your child is looking for an academic challenge or a tailored educational experience, Carolina at Deanside puts an array of options on your doorstep.
