Mehta and Abhishek love their townhome at Carolina

“We chose the townhome because we liked the design. It met all the requirements that we had, all the essentials are included and it’s the perfect fit for our family.

We loved the large windows which bring so much sunlight into the home as well as the dual storey layout. It’s a good size but still easy to maintain.

We have busy lives and a young daughter so we can let the upstairs bedroom level be a bit messy while the living areas downstairs stay neat and tidy for entertaining,”

We really fell in love with the community feel of Caroline Springs and Deanside, so a townhome was an affordable choice within that area that checked all the boxes for our small family.

We put down our deposit after just three days. We believe if you find something you like you should go for it, rather than hunting for this perfect place, the trick is you make it perfect.

To fit our budget in Hobart, we would have to buy a home at least half-an-hour outside the city, where the nearest supermarket would be 15 minutes away, whereas in Deanside and Caroline Springs everything you need is within a five minute drive.

We came to Caroline Springs for one of our friend’s events, and when we saw the area and the natural surrounds we thought, ‘this feels nice, this feels like our home’. 

The location, schooling, and amenities were important to us when choosing our first home. We got all of them ticked in outer Melbourne, so we thought, ‘let’s make the move’.”
